Final GREEN conference held in Lendava
CCIS organized the final GREEN conference together with Občina Lendava, local authority with which we signed an agreement about collaboration. Under the aegis of the mayor the conference was held on 23 March 2012 in Lendava. The title of the conference was »Environmental obligations for hotel and catering sector and small farms, which have an environmental influence«.
Several participants from SMEs and ESPs participated and were given the following presentations:
- GREEN project general presentation with the emphasis on the 2-year activities on national level,
- legislative acts related to waste classification with emphasis on municipal waste and waste generated in the hotel and catering sector,
- wastewater treatment in the municipal wastewater treatment Lendava - characteristics of substances which could have a detrimental effect on it`s operation,
- Small residentual municipal wastewater treatment plants, when does it make sense to use them, how to chose an optimal plant, what you need to know about their operation, maintenance and monitoring of effects.
